12.04 Billion Dinars in Transactions Processed Through “eFAWATEERcom” Since the Beginning of 2026

Al-Taj News – The value of transactions processed through the “eFAWATEERcom” system increased by 10.7% in September 2026, reaching approximately 1.5 billion dinars, compared with 1.35 billion dinars in August. The number of transactions processed through the system during the same month reached 7.63 million, down 3.9% compared with 7.94 million transactions in the previous month.

Data from the Jordanian Payments and Clearing Company (JoPACC), reviewed by Al-Mamlaka, showed that the total number of transactions processed through “eFAWATEERcom” from the beginning of 2026 through the end of September reached 63.88 million, while their total value amounted to 12.04 billion dinars.

The number of system users rose to 5.45 million in September, compared with 5.39 million users in August and 5.34 million in July, representing a monthly increase of 1%.

The system recorded 54,800 new users during September, while the number of billers reached 746 and the number of services available through the system stood at 2,663.

Regarding the number of transactions by service type, telecommunications services ranked first with approximately 2.16 million transactions, followed by water and electricity services with around 2.01 million transactions, then government services with approximately 1.97 million transactions.

Wallet companies and payment service providers recorded around 599,000 transactions, followed by financing and financial services with approximately 303,000 transactions, education services with 271,000 transactions, transport and travel with 66,000 transactions, insurance with 43,000 transactions, gas and energy with 41,000 transactions, and trade and services with 38,000 transactions.
